Title
An ordinance to amend the St. Charles Parish Code of Ordinances, Chapter 5. Boats, Docks and Waterways, Article I. In General, Section 5-3. No-wake/idle speed only zones, (a) (3) by extending the zone to the Randolf Pump Station.
Body
WHEREAS, the Parish of St. Charles has determined a public need to protect property owners and docked water vessels from being damaged, and to protect the existing land from eroding further by extending the current No-wake/idle speed zone to the Randolph Pump Station in Des Allemands.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the St. Charles Parish Code of Ordinances, Chapter 5. Boats, Docks and Waterways, Article I. In General, Section 5-3. No-wake/idle speed only zones., (a) (3) be hereby amended to add as follows, with new text underlined and deleted text in strikethough:
Sec. 5-3. - No-wake/idle speed only zones.
(a) Designated:
(3) The portion of Bayou Des Allemands north and south of Des Allemands overpass (Highway 90) bounded between the two lines defined as follows: North line being the line existing between N 29? 49' 39.66"/W 90? 28' 41.63" and N 29? 49' 40.34"
N 29? 50' 5.23"/W 90? 28' 31.73" W 90? 28' 33.00" and the south line being the line existing between N 29? 49' 01.63"/W 90? 28' 40.79" and N 29? 49' 03.64"/W 90? 28' 29.84".
The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, thereon was as follows:
