ORDINANCE:
Title
An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of a License for Underground Pipelines, Cables and Conduits with the Illinois Central Railroad Company for the Destrehan Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant Project.
Body
WHEREAS, the Parish is in the process of constructing Destrehan Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant Project and it is necessary to install an 8-inch underground water pipeline through the Illinois Central Railroad Company property; and,
WHEREAS, the Illinois Central Railroad Company has prepared a License for Underground Pipelines, Cables and Conduits including a one time fee of $2,900.00 to provide for said project.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the License for Underground Pipelines, Cables and Conduits by and between the Illinois Central Railroad Company and St. Charles Parish is hereby approved.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said license on behalf of St. Charles Parish.
