Title

An ordinance approving and authorizing the execution of Change Order No. 1 - Final for Parish Project No. P030909, Gassen Street Railroad Crossing Resurfacing and Widening, to decrease the contract amount by $58,466 and to increase the contract time by 2 days.

Body

WHEREAS,      Ordinance No. 05-12-42 adopted December 19, 2005 by the St. Charles Parish Council awarded construction of Parish Project No. P030909, Gassen Street Railroad Crossing Resurfacing and Widening, to Barriere Construction Co., L.L.C.; and,

WHEREAS,      it is necessary to amend the contract to adjust the original contract quantities with actual quantities resulting in a decrease of $58,466 in the contract amount and a increase in the contract time by 2 calendar days.

THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:

      SECTION I.  That the Administration is hereby authorized to execute Change Order No. 1 - Final for the Parish Project No. P030909, Gassen Street Railroad Crossing Resurfacing and Widening contract to decrease the contract amount by $58,466 and to increase the contract time by 2 days.

      SECTION II.  That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Change Order.
