Title
A resolution providing supporting authorization to endorse the resubdivision of the Pascal Margiotta Lot in Hahnville into four lots with waivers from the required area for one lot and from the required width for two lots, as requested by Della Gisclair and Diane Costa.
Body
WHEREAS, The Pascal Margiotta Lot in Hahnville has been under the ownership of three heirs since 1991; and,
WHEREAS, a 5,091 square foot portion of the lot was sold to one of the heirs, Diane Costa, the previous year, 1990; and,
WHEREAS, the heirs would like to subdivide the Lot into four lots: 1-PM, the site of the former American Bank building; 2-PM, the Diane Costa property; 3-PM, with legally non-conforming residential uses; and 4-PM, a batture lot; and,
WHEREAS, Lot 2-PM does not meet the required 7,000 square foot area for the zoning district and neither Lot 2-PM nor Lot 3-PM meets the required width on a developed street; and,
WHEREAS, the St. Charles Parish Subdivision Ordinance of 1981 (as amended) requires a supporting resolution of the Parish Council to waive the required area and width; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission, at their April 5, 2018 meeting recommended approval of the resubdivision with said waiver.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL, does hereby provide this supporting authorization to endorse the resubdivision of the Pascal Margiotta Lot into Lots 1-PM, 2-PM, 3-PM, and 4-PM with the required waivers from the minimum 7,000 square foot area for Lot 2-PM and from the required frontage on a developed street for Lots 2-PM and 3-PM as requested by Della Gisclair and Diane Costa.
The foregoing resolution having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
