Title
An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of an Engineering Services Contract with Pan American Engineers - Baton Rouge, Inc. for the design of Parish Project No. P011002, Bar None East Subsurface Drainage.
Body
WHEREAS, subsurface drainage already exists on the eastern side of Bar None Subdivision, but requires improvements to meet the standards indicated in the St. Charles Parish Subdivision Regulations; and,
WHEREAS, the QBS Selection Board met on February 25, 2002, and recommended award of Parish Project No. P011002, Bar None East Subsurface Drainage to Pan American Engineers - Baton Rouge, Inc. (See Attachment A); and,
WHEREAS, the Project Budget for this contract is as follows:
Construction $ 170,000
Basic Engineering 14,200
Survey 5,100
Resident Inspection 25,200
Permits 6,000
Geotechnical 3,400
Total Project Budget $ 223,900
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Engineering Services Contract with Pan American Engineers - Baton Rouge, Inc. for the design of Parish Project No. P011002, Bar None East Subsurface Drainage be hereby accepted.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute the attached Engineering Services Contract.
