A resolution to grant permission to the St. Charles Parish Firemen's Association, P.O. Box 733, Hahnville, LA 70057, to solicit contributions at the intersection of Highway 90, at the traffic signal light in front of Walmart Shopping Center, on July 14, 2007.
Body
WHEREAS, Louisiana Revised Statute 32:218 B provides for the solicitation of contributions by non-profit organizations on a public roadway; and,
WHEREAS, the St. Charles Parish Firemen's Association, P.O. Box 733, Hahnville, LA 70057, has requested permission to solicit contributions at the intersection of Highway 90, at the traffic signal light in front of Walmart Shopping Center, on July 14, 2007 for the purpose of contributing to the Muscular Dystrophy Association/Jerry Lewis Telethon.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL, do hereby grant permission to the St. Charles Parish Firemen's Association, P.O. Box 733, Hahnville, LA 70057, to solicit contributions at the intersection of Highway 90, at the traffic signal light in front of Walmart Shopping Center, on July 14, 2007, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
