ORDINANCE:
Title
An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of a Drainage Facility & Waterway Agreement with the Union Pacific Railroad Company for the Sugarhouse Road Bore & Jack Project. (Folder No. 01755-54)
Body
WHEREAS, the Parish is in the process of constructing the Sugarhouse Road Bore & Jack Project and it is necessary to install two (2) 42-inch culverts through the Union Pacific Railroad Company property; and,
WHEREAS, the Union Pacific Railroad Company has prepared a Drainage Facility & Waterway Agreement including a one time fee of $3,506.00 to provide for said project.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Drainage Facility & Waterway Agreement (Folder No. 01755-54) by and between Union Pacific Railroad Company and the St. Charles Parish Department of Public Works is hereby approved.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said contract on behalf of the St. Charles Parish Department of Public Works.
