Title
An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of a Contract with G.C.R. & Associates, Inc. to prepare a Hazard Mitigation Plan for St. Charles Parish.
Body
WHEREAS, St. Charles Parish is in need of a Hazard Mitigation Plan in order to identify and address areas of vulnerability; and,
WHEREAS, the Parish solicited proposals from company's interested in preparing said plan; and,
WHEREAS, the Department of Emergency Preparedness has reviewed the proposals and has recommended the acceptance of G.C.R & Associates, Inc. to complete the Plan.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Contract between St. Charles Parish and G.C.R.& Associates, Inc. for the development of a Hazard Mitigation Plan is hereby approved. SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Agreement on behalf of the Parish of St. Charles.
