Title
An ordinance of the Parish of St. Charles providing that the Code of Ordinances, Parish of St. Charles, be amended by revising Chapter 2 Administration, Section 2-1. Parish seal and decal. and by adding Section 2-1.1-2. Parish logo.
Body
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Parish Council to clarify that the Parish seal shall appear on all parish vehicles, motorized equipment, and letterhead; and,
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Parish Council to officially establish the Parish logo.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Code of Ordinances, be amended by revising Chapter 2 Administration, Section 2-1. Parish seal and decal. and by adding Section 2-1.1-2. Parish logo as follows:
Section 2-1. Parish seal and decal.
AS WRITTEN:
The decal shall appear upon all parish vehicles and equipment.

REVISED:
The seal shall appear upon all parish vehicles, motorized equipment, and letterhead.

Section 2-1.1-2. Parish logo
The St. Charles Parish logo, a modern bridge design graphic, span with two (2) towers, using gold for the span and dark green for the towers, ST. CHARLES PARISH is used underneath the length of the logo in Bank Gothic font, color variations of the logo are also used and reproduced at least two inches in width. The green/gold version may be used for signage. The Parish logo is for government use only and/or to represent government sponsorship. Parish departments may choose to use the Parish logo as part of their own logo; however, it must remain intact. The logo should be reproduced in color whenever possible.
The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:




And the ordinance was declared adopted this day of , 2016, to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
