Title
A resolution supporting the application for funding of the Bonnet Carré Spillway Water Main Replacement project in Montz through the Louisiana Office of Community Development’s FY 2018-2019 Community Water Enrichment Fund.
Body
WHEREAS, Louisiana Legislature House Bill 2 (Act 29) allocated $79,200 per parish for the Community Water Enrichment Fund for fiscal year 2018-2019; and,
WHEREAS, the Bonnet Carré Spillway Water Main is in need of replacement, which is an activity that is eligible for assistance under the program; and,
WHEREAS, the Parish President and the Department of Waterworks requests the Parish Council’s support for the application to have this recommended improvement partially funded through the Louisiana Office of Community Development’s FY 2018-2019 Community Water Enrichment Fund.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL, do hereby approve and support the application for funding of the Bonnet Carré Spillway Water Main Replacement project through the Louisiana Office of Community Development’s FY 2018-2019 Community Water Enrichment Fund.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said application and to act on behalf of St. Charles Parish in all matters pertaining to this project and subsequent grant award.
