Proclamation: “Krewe of Des Allemands Day”

P R O C L A M A T I O N
WHEREAS, on Sunday, February 19, 2023, at 1:00 pm, the Krewe of Des Allemands will parade through the streets of Des Allemands; and,
WHEREAS, the community of Des Allemands has enjoyed a carnival parade for over fifty years; and,
WHEREAS, this community event is organized and directed by a group of citizens who give of their time and talent to make this event possible; and,
WHEREAS, the residents of St. Charles Parish are truly grateful for their dedication and hard work.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, WE THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL AND THE PARISH PRESIDENT, DO HEREBY PROCLAIM SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 19, 2023, AS
"KREWE OF DES ALLEMANDS DAY"
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 19, 2023, IS HEREBY DECLARED A DAY OF FUN AND FESTIVITY IN ST. CHARLES PARISH.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, ON BEHALF OF THE CITIZENS OF ST. CHARLES PARISH, WE DO HEREBY EXTEND OUR SINCERE THANKS AND APPRECIATION TO A GROUP OF CITIZENS FOR THEIR CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE KREWE OF DES ALLEMANDS.
