Title
An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of a Cooperative Endeavor Agreement with St. Charles Community Health Center, Inc. for use of the Public Health Unit at 843 Milling Avenue in Luling to provide public health care services to the residents of St. Charles Parish.
Body
WHEREAS, St. Charles Parish in conjunction with the Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals, Office of Public Health and the United States Department of Health and Human Services, Bureau of Primary Health Care are working jointly through the St. Charles Community Health Care Center, Inc. to provide Public Health Services to the citizens of our Parish; and,
WHEREAS, it is the desire of St. Charles Parish and St. Charles Community Health Center, Inc. to enter into a Cooperative Endeavor Agreement for use of the Public Health Unit at 843 Milling Avenue in Luling for providing health care services to the residents of our Parish, regardless of their ability to pay.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Cooperative Endeavor Agreement by and between St. Charles Parish and St. Charles Parish Community Health Center, Inc is hereby approved.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Agreement on behalf of St. Charles Parish.
