Title
An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of Change Order No. Two (2) for the Hahnville Effluent Force Main Project to decrease the contract price by $100,982.10.
Body
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That Ordinance No. 98-11-5 adopted November 16, 1998, by the St. Charles Parish Council, approved and authorized the execution of a contract with Bartlett Construction, Inc. for the construction of the Hahnville Effluent Force Main Project in the amount of $688,650.00; and,
SECTION II. That Ordinance No. 99-6-16 adopted June 21, 1999, by the St. Charles Parish Council, approved and authorized the execution of Change Order No. One (1) to the contract for the construction of the Hahnville Effluent Force Main Project to increase the contract amount by $1,610.00; and,
SECTION III. That it is necessary to decrease the original contract price by $100,982.10.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL, do hereby approve and authorize the execution of Change Order No. Two (2) to the contract for the Hahnville Effluent Force Main Project, to decrease the contract price by $100,982.10.
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, that the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute this Change Order to the contract.
