ORDINANCE NO.
Title
An ordinance approving and authorizing the execution of a Professional Services Agreement with All South Consulting Engineers, LLC., to perform engineering services for Des Allemands Bulkhead (Project No. P210601).
Body
WHEREAS, the timber bulkhead along Bayou Des Allemands has degraded to a point where it is no longer functioning as intended; and,
WHEREAS, the Parish believes the installation of a sheet pile bulkhead is needed to replace the timber bulkhead; and,
WHEREAS, the attached Professional Services Agreement between St. Charles Parish and All South Consulting Engineers, LLC., describes the details of the proposed services and compensation.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Professional Services Agreement between St. Charles Parish and All South Consulting Engineers, LLC., to perform engineering services as required by the Department of Public Works for Des Allemands Bulkhead (Project No. P210601) is hereby approved and accepted.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said agreement on behalf of St. Charles Parish.
The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
And the ordinance was declared adopted this day of , 2021, to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
