Title
An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of a contract with D&O Contractors, Inc. for the construction of Project P000310 Dunleith Canal Channel Crossing in the amount of $356,774.00.
Body
WHEREAS, sealed bids were received by the Parish on June 29, 2001, for the Dunleith Canal Channel Crossing; and,
WHEREAS, Hartman Engineering, Inc., Consulting Engineers for the Project, have reviewed the bids and recommend that the Contract be awarded to the low bidder, D&O Contractors, Inc., in the amount of $356,774.00.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the bid of D&O Contractors, Inc. for the construction of Dunleith Canal Channel Crossing be hereby accepted in the amount of $356,774.00.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute the attached contract documents.

The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
And the ordinance was declared adopted this ______ day of ____________, 2001, to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
