Title
An ordinance approving and authorizing the execution of Amendment No. 1 to Ordinance No. 21-11-4, which approved the Professional Services Agreement with GIS Engineering, LLC, to perform engineering services for the Montz Pump Station No.2 (Parish Project Number P210806).
Body
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 21-11-4 adopted November 15, 2021, by the St. Charles Parish Council, approved and authorized the execution of a Professional Services Agreement with GIS Engineering, LLC for the design of the Montz Pump Station No.2 (Parish Project No. P210806); and,
WHEREAS, the original Agreement did not include scope or compensation for additional services of Permitting, Topographic Surveying, and Cultural Resource Surveying for the project; and,
WHEREAS, St. Charles Parish and GIS Engineering, LLC have mutually agreed upon a not-to-exceed fee of $97,200.00 to complete the additional work; and,
WHEREAS, to address the addition of Additional Services (Permitting, Topographic Surveying, and Cultural Resource Surveying), the fees for the Additional Services need to be added to support the Montz Pump Station No.2 work; and,
WHEREAS, Amendment No. 1 to the Professional Services Agreement between St. Charles Parish and GIS Engineering, LLC, describes the details of the proposed services and compensation.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That Amendment No. 1 to the Professional Services Agreement between St. Charles Parish and GIS Engineering, LLC, for the Montz Pump Station No.2 (Parish Project Number P210806) for a not-to-exceed fee of $97,200.00 is hereby approved and accepted.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute Amendment No. 1 on behalf of St. Charles Parish.
