Title
An ordinance asking the Administration to add St. Charles Street (La 48 to Third Street) and Spruce Street (4th Street to Dead End), both in Norco, to Road Maintenance 2001-2002, Parish Project No. P000801.
Body
WHEREAS, sealed bids were received by the Parish on September 6, 2002, and Barriere Construction Company, L.L.C. was the apparent low bidder for Road Maintenance 2001-2002; and,
WHEREAS, on October 7, 2002, the Administration was approved and authorized to execute a contract with Barriere Construction Company, L.L.C. for Road Maintenance 2001-2002; and,
WHEREAS, the aforementioned portion of St. Charles Street is subject to excessive traffic and is in poor condition due to deterioration since the last road maintenance report; and,
WHEREAS, the aforementioned portion of Spruce Street is in deplorable condition due to deterioration that has occurred since the last road maintenance report.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Administration is hereby authorized to add St. Charles Street (La 48 to Third Street) and Spruce Street (4th Street to Dead End), both in Norco, to Road Maintenance 2001-2002, Parish Project No. P000801.

The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
And the ordinance was declared adopted this ______ day of ________, 2002, to become effective five (5) days after publication in the official journal.
