Title
An ordinance to amend the 2012 Consolidated Operating and Capital Budget, Amendment No. 2, to roll forward from the 2011 budget construction, architectural/engineering, and other fees for Fund 112 - Roads and Drainage for various parish projects as noted herein.
Body
WHEREAS, the 2012 St. Charles Parish Consolidated Operating and Capital Budget was adopted November 7, 2011 by Ordinance No. 11-11-1, amended January 4, 2012 by Executive Order No. 12-01; February 22, 2012 by Executive Order No. 12-02; and February 27, 2012 by Ordinance No. 12-2-9 ( Amendment No. 1); and,
WHEREAS, the Parish Council has taken under consideration the study of Amendment No. 2 to the St. Charles Parish Consolidated Operating and Capital Budget for fiscal year 2012 to roll forward from the 2011 budget construction, architectural/engineering and other fees for Fund 112 - Roads and Drainage - Drainage, Account No. 112-420260, in the amount of $9,321,896.00 unexpended in 2011, as shown by the Revision Schedule; and,
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Parish Council to approve said revisions in Amendment No. 2.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That in accordance with the provisions of Article V, Sections D, E, and F of the St. Charles Parish Home Rule Charter and with the Louisiana Local Government Budget Act (R.S. 39:1301 et. seq.), the St. Charles Parish Council does hereby amend the 2012 St. Charles Parish Consolidated Operating and Capital Budget, Amendment No. 2, as amended, as per "Exhibit A".
