IN   RECOGNITION
 
WHEREAS,      Kaleb Paul Champagne is a resident of St. Charles Parish residing in Luling, Louisiana with his parents Brian and Amanda Champagne, and his sisters Brittani and Evan; brothers Adam, Seth, and Quinn; and,
WHEREAS,      Kaleb is a member of Troop 370, chartered by St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Luling; he started his Scouting career in September 2005; and,
WHEREAS,      Kaleb has spent the last 9 years as an active member of the Scouts spending the last 5 years preparing to become an EAGLE SCOUT; and,
WHEREAS,      Kaleb has earned his 39 merit badges from a list of 126 badges and completed his Eagle Scout Service Project by making repairs, cleaning, and painting the Parish Rectory at St. Anthony Church in Luling.  His project was accomplished in May 2013; and,
WHEREAS,      Kaleb earned these 39 badges by showing leadership ability as Assistant Senior Patrol Leader, Scribe, Patrol Leader, Quartermaster, and Den Chief; and,
WHEREAS,      Kaleb rose to the rank of EAGLE SCOUT on February 27, 2014, and received his medal in a ceremony on May 25, 2014, at the St. Anthony of Padua Community Activity Building in Luling; and,
WHEREAS,      Kaleb is a Junior at Hahnville High School and will continue to grow as an EAGLE SCOUT by providing leadership as a Junior Assistant Scoutmaster for Troop 370.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL AND THE PARISH PRESIDENT, do hereby offer this tribute and recognition to
KALEB PAUL CHAMPAGNE

created in 1807 from the county of the
