Title
An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of Change Order No. 1 and final for the Repair and Repainting of the Montz Elevated Water Tower to decrease the contract amount by $12,200.00 and to increase the contract time by 21 calendar days.
Body
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That Ordinance No. 03-2-1 adopted February 3, 2003, by the St. Charles Parish Council, approved and authorized the execution of a contract with Capitol Enterprises, Inc. for the Repair and Repainting of the Montz Elevated Water Tower in the amount of $102,672.50.
SECTION II. That it is necessary to decrease the contract amount by $12,200.00 and to increase to contract time by 21 calendar days.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL, do hereby approve and authorize the execution of Change Order No. One (1) and final for the Repair and Repainting of the Montz Elevated Water Tower to decrease the contract amount by $12,200.00 and to increase the contract time by 21 calendar days.
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, that the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute this Change Order to the contract.
