Title
An ordinance amending the St. Charles Parish Code of Ordinances to require solid fencing or screen planting around cemeteries in the Open Land (O-L) Zoning District.
Body
WHEREAS, the current zoning ordinance requires a fence or screen planting six (6) feet high be provided along all property lines adjoining all districts when cemeteries or mausoleums are developed in the C-2 Zoning district; and,
WHEREAS, St. Charles Parish wishes the Zoning Laws to be consistent across zoning districts.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
Section 1 That Appendix A. Section VI.A.[1].3.e is amended to add the following:
(2) All cemetery or mausoleum sites must have a fence or screen planting six (6) feet high along all property lines adjoining all districts.
