ORDINANCE NO.                                                                

Title

An ordinance approving and authorizing the execution of Change Order No. 2 (Final) for Parish Project No P120801, Randolph Pump Station Bar Screen Cleaners, to balance the contract quantities with actual quantities resulting in a decrease of $27,715.75 and increase of 4 days.

Body

WHEREAS,                     Ordinance No. 15-4-9 adopted April 6, 2015 by the St. Charles Parish Council awarded construction of Parish Project No P120801, Randolph Pump Station Bar Screen Cleaners, to Sealevel Construction, Inc. in the amount of $770,450.00; and,

WHEREAS,                     Ordinance No. 15-10-9 adopted October 19, 2015 by the St. Charles Parish Council approved Change Order 1 to increase contract amount to $843,755.50 and increase contract time by 14 days; and,

WHEREAS,                     it is necessary to amend the contract resulting in a decrease to the contract amount by $27,715.75 and increase contract time by 4 days.  Final contract amount will be $816,039.75.

THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:

                     SECTION I.                     That Change Order No. 2 (Final) for Parish Project No. P120801, Randolph Pump Station Bar Screen Cleaners, to decrease the contract amount by $27,715.75 and decrease the contract time by 4 days is hereby approved and accepted.

                     SECTION II.                     That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Change Order on behalf of St. Charles Parish.

                     The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
