ORDINANCE NO.  __________

Title

An ordinance to approve and authorize a Cooperative agreement between St. Charles Parish and the Louisiana Department of Natural Resources, for the "Parish Coastal Wetland Restoration Program".

Body

WHEREAS,      St. Charles Parish has been a leader in the "Parish Coastal Wetland Restoration Program"; and,

WHEREAS,      the Parish's Christmas Tree Program is always a positive and popular way for the citizens of St. Charles Parish to participate in.

THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:

      SECTION I.      That the DNR Cooperative Agreement No. 2503-05-13 between the Parish of St. Charles and DNR is hereby approved in the amount of $18,000.00.

      SECTION II.      That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Agreement on behalf of St. Charles Parish.
