ORDINANCE NO.                   

Title

An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of an Agreement with All Star Electric, Inc. for the St. Charles Parish Courthouse Interior Repairs.

Body

WHEREAS,      sealed bids were received on April 27, 2006 for the Interior Repairs for the Parish Courthouse from Hurricane Katrina damage; and,

WHEREAS,      it is recommended that the bid of All Star Electric, Inc. in the amount of $731,500.00 be accepted.  (Base Bid of $745,000.00 minus $13,500.00 Alternate No. 1)

THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:

SECTION I.      That the Agreement between the Parish of St. Charles and All Star Electric, Inc. for the Interior Repairs for the Parish Courthouse in the amount of $731,500.00 is hereby accepted.

SECTION II.      That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Agreement on behalf of the Parish of St. Charles.
