RESOLUTION NO. __________
Title
A resolution requesting the Parish Administration take immediate action and enter into temporary Contractual Agreements with Independent grass cutters from October 1, 2009 to December 31, 2009.
Body
WHEREAS, with the staff shortage and the back load of work requests related to grass cutting; and,
WHEREAS, calls are received daily from Residents concerned about the lack of maintenance throughout the Parish; and,
WHEREAS, uncut and unclean drainage ditches are presenting possible problems with water flow and the possibility of breading grounds for mosquitoes; and,
WHEREAS, these uncut areas are presenting problems with rodents and many other unsavory varmints, creating health and safety concerns for residents.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL, do hereby request the Parish Administration take immediate action and enter into temporary Contractual Agreements with Independent grass cutters from October 1, 2009 to December 31, 2009.
