IN RECOGNITION
WHEREAS, Robert Fisher is a teacher at Destrehan High School in Destrehan; and,
WHEREAS, Robert has dedicated his professional career to the advancement and enrichment of education; and,
WHEREAS, Robert was nominated by a former student in 1996 for Who's Who Among American Teachers; and,
WHEREAS, Robert was inducted into T. H. Harris School's African American Hall of Fame - 2000; and,
WHEREAS, Robert has "made a difference in the lives of children"; and,
WHEREAS, Robert has been chosen as the Destrehan High School and St. Charles Parish Secondary Teacher of the Year - 2000.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL AND THE PARISH PRESIDENT, do hereby offer this tribute and recognition to
ROBERT FISHER
