NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT WE THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL, do hereby request the Louisiana Attorney General's Office provide an opinion on whether or not the Parish Council can pass an ordinance directing the Parish President to secure a servitude on an existing parish maintained ditch located on private property for the benefit of the public and to put in subsurface drainage where the ditch is located under any circumstances at all.
      The foregoing resolution having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
