Title
An ordinance to rename certain streets in the Luling area of St. Charles Parish to accommodate the Implementation of the Enhanced 911 Telephone System.
Body
WHEREAS, the St. Charles Parish Communications District in the process of implementing an Enhanced 911 Telephone System within St. Charles Parish, Louisiana, and
WHEREAS, in order to more clearly identify certain streets, eliminate duplicate street names, and name certain unnamed streets within the Parish, it will be necessary to rename and/or name certain streets within St. Charles Parish.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the following street name be changed in order to more clearly identify certain streets, eliminate duplicate street names, and name certain unnamed streets within St. Charles Parish to accommodate the implementation of the Enhanced 911 Telephone System.
FROM TO
Elderberry Court Elderberry Drive
and a portion of Tupelo
Drive (from Bethany
Drive West to First corner)

The remainder Hawthorn Drive
of Tupelo Drive

SECTION II. That a copy of this ordinance be sent to the St. Charles Parish Communications District, the St. Charles Parish Planning Department, and the U.S. Postal Service.
SECTION III. That the Parish Administration be directed to install the proper street signs on the appropriate streets.
SECTION IV. If any word, clause, phrase, section or other portion of this ordinance shall be declared null, void, invalid, illegal or unconstitutional, the remaining words, clauses, phrases, sections and other portions of this ordinance shall remain in full force and effect, the provisions of this ordinance hereby being declared to be severable.
SECTION V. That the adoption of this ordinance shall not affect the status of any private or public streets, regarding maintenance or any other public facilities or services, ...
