ORDINANCE NO.
Title
An ordinance approving and authorizing the execution of Change Order No. 2 (Final) for Parish Project No P070701, Maryland Drive Bridge Crossing, to increase the contract time by 131 days and to increase the contract amount by $38,363.14.
Body
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 09-4-4 adopted April 6, 2009 by the St. Charles Parish Council awarded construction of Parish Project No P070701, Maryland Drive Bridge Crossing, to Byron E. Talbot Contractors; and,
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 09-9-13, adopted September 8, 2009 for Change Order 1 to include an additional line item and other unforeseen expenditures on the project; and,
WHEREAS, it is necessary to amend the contract to adjust the original contract quantities with actual quantities resulting in a increase to the contract time by 131 days and an increase to the contract amount by $38,363.14.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That Change Order No. 2 (Final) for Parish Project No P070701, Maryland Drive Bridge Crossing, to increase the contract time by 131 days and to increase the contract amount by $38,363.14 is hereby approved.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Change Order on behalf of St. Charles Parish.
