RESOLUTION NO.    4786        

Title

A resolution authorizing the Administration to negotiate a purchase price for the property in Luling, contingent on the July 16, 2000 election, for construction of a Health Unit Facility.

Body

WHEREAS,      the Special Projects/Public Safety, Health, and Environmental Committee has been reviewing proposals for the purchase of property to construct a new Health Unit Facility; and,

WHEREAS,      property is available adjacent to Ellington Gardens Subdivision in Luling.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL do hereby authorize the Administration to negotiate a purchase price for property in Luling for the construction of a new Health Unit Facility with the stipulation that the Parish is reimbursed if an election to purchase land and construct a facility is successful.
