ORDINANCE NO.
Title
An ordinance approving and authorizing the execution of Change Order No. 2 for Asphalt Pavement Maintenance, Parish Project No. P210302, to decrease the contract amount by $396,163.17.
Body
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 21-5-12 adopted May 17, 2021, by the St. Charles Parish Council awarded construction of Parish Project No. P210302, Asphalt Pavement Maintenance, to Barriere Construction Co, LLC, in the amount of $2,563,450.00; and,
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 21-8-7 adopted August 9, 2021, by the St. Charles Parish Council approved a Professional Services Agreement with Alpha Testing and Inspection, Inc., for testing services in the not to exceed amount of $30,000.00; and,
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 22-2-4 adopted February 7, 2022, by the St. Charles Parish Council approved Change Order No. 1, which increased the contract amount by $536,799.31.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That Change Order No. 2 for Asphalt Pavement Maintenance, Parish Project No. P210302, to decrease the contract amount by $396,163.17 is hereby approved and accepted.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Change Order on behalf of St. Charles Parish.
The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
