Title
A resolution requesting an Attorney General Opinion as to whether the Parish has the authority to remove trees, bushes, or other plantings planted by private individuals within street right of ways which have been dedicated to the Parish if these items are posing a hazard to the traveling public and if they are not posing a hazard to the travelling public.
Body
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT WE THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL, do hereby request an Attorney General Opinion as to whether the Parish has the authority to remove trees, bushes, or other plantings planted by private individuals within street right of ways which have been dedicated to the Parish if these items are posing a hazard to the traveling public and if they are not posing a hazard to the travelling public.
The foregoing resolution having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
And the resolution was declared adopted this day of , 2016, to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
