Title
An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of an Agreement with Providence Engineering and Environmental Group LLC to update the Hazard Mitigation Plan for St. Charles Parish.
Body
WHEREAS, St. Charles Parish is in need of a revision to the Hazard Mitigation Plan in order to review hazards and reprioritize mitigation activities; and,
WHEREAS, the parish solicited proposals from companies interested in updating said plan; and,
WHEREAS, the Department of Emergency Preparedness has reviewed the proposals and has recommended the acceptance of Providence Engineering and Environmental Group, LLC to update the Plan.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Agreement between St. Charles Parish and Providence Engineering and Environmental Group, LLC for the update of the Hazard Mitigation Plan is hereby approved.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Agreement on behalf of the Parish of St Charles.

The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
