Title
A resolution to appoint Major Donald Smith to the St. Charles Parish Communications District representing the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office.
Body
WHEREAS, there exists a vacancy on the ST. CHARLES PARISH COMMUNICATIONS DISTRICT due to the resignation of Chief Rodney Madere, Jr. on November 12, 2020; and,
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Parish Council to fill this vacancy.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that Major Donald Smith 232 Wenger Road, Des Allemands, LA 70030 is hereby appointed to fill the unexpired term on the ST. CHARLES PARISH COMMUNICATIONS DISTRICT.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said appointment shall be effective IMMEDIATELY and shall expire AUGUST 19, 2023.
The foregoing resolution having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
