Title
An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of an Act of Donation by Rathborne Land Company, L.L.C. to St. Charles Parish for a certain parcel of property adjacent to the Rathborne Park at 702 Lakewood Drive in Luling.
Body
WHEREAS, on October 16, 1995 the St. Charles Parish Council adopted Ordinance No. 95-10-7 approving and authorizing the execution of an Act of Donation of property by Willowridge Estates, L.L.C. to the Parish of St. Charles for recreational use by Willowridge Estates Subdivision, Luling, La.; and,
WHEREAS, the existing parking has limited capacity and the Parish is in need of a larger parking area to accommodate citizens using the Rathborne Park and Rathborne Land Company, L.L.C. has agreed to donate said additional property to the Parish; and,
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Parish Council to accept said Act of Donation.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Act of Donation by Rathborne Land Company, L.L.C. to St. Charles Parish for a certain Parcel of property as more fully shown on sketch by Lucien C. Gassen Surveying Services, Lucien J. Gassen Jr, PLS, dated February 11, 2019 is hereby approved and accepted.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Act of Donation on behalf of St. Charles Parish.
The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
And the ordinance was declared adopted this day of , 2019, to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
